Research computing & data
Harvard University Research Computing and Data Services (URCDS) is Harvard's university-wide resource, built to support research computing and data management. Our platforms, infrastructure, and expertise are designed to meet the complex, data-intensive, and computationally demanding needs of modern research, and are available to every researcher across all of Harvard's schools and disciplines.
Beyond direct services, URCDS plays an active coordinating role within Harvard's broader research computing community. We partner with school-level research computing teams across the University to align on best practices, develop shared platforms, and reduce duplication of effort, ensuring that research groups everywhere benefit from institution-scale investments. Our vision is a cohesive, university-wide ecosystem where every Harvard researcher has the resources and support they need to focus on what matters most: their research.
