Overview
Panopto is a video platform that is used for lecture capture and also allows you to record audio, video, and entire screens or application windows (e.g., PowerPoint); manage and upload your recorded videos and other media assets to course sites in Canvas; and utilize interactive video features (e.g., notes, bookmarks, quizzes), video captioning, and webcasting.
Eligibility
Faculty, staff, researchers, and students in Central Administration, FAS, College, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HDS, HKS, HMS (Quad), HSDM (Quad), SPH
Must have a Canvas account
Data classification level
Approved for up to Level 3 confidential data
Storage
Videos are archived after two years and deleted after four years.
