Julie Broad

Julie Broad is the Executive Director of Advancement Solutions in Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D). In this role Julie works in concert with AA&D senior leadership and University-wide partners to envision and execute strategies to guide technology solutions and operational services to enable the philanthropic and engagement mission. Julie's portfolio includes operational services, business process design, data management, project execution, business intelligence, change management, customer service, enterprise systems management, and risk mitigation.   

Julie began overseeing AA&D enterprise systems in 2006. She has supported and implemented technology solutions for AA&D since 1995, participating in the development of several first-time uses of technology including alumni email forwarding, an online alumni directory, and the acceptance of online donations. 

Prior to her 30-year career at Harvard, Julie worked as a programmer in healthcare information systems. She received her bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of South Carolina.
