AI APIs and developer tools

Overview

HUIT offers developers guidance on and access to generative AI APIs and frameworks, enabling the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into their applications or services. This includes chatbot creation and customization, building and testing applications, access to model training and deployment, coding, predictive analytics, and more. Code and low/no-code offerings are available. These tools are subject to change based on availability. Self-service AI API access for eligible users is available through Harvard’s API Platform. These include pay-as-you-go or limited-access, credit-redemption options, including the FAS OpenAI “Community Developer” API (HarvardKey-protected).
