##  Overview 

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) enabled by Cisco AnyConnect creates a secure connection to the Harvard network for access to sensitive University tools and resources. Many University services require a VPN connection whenever they are accessed from outside the Harvard network.



 

 ### Eligibility

**Faculty, staff, researchers,** and **students** in Central Administration, FAS, College, DCE\*, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HBS, HKS, HDS, HLS, HMS (Quad), HSDM (Quad), Radcliffe, SPH

*Approval of authorized requestor for access to specific tunnels*

*All active Harvard affiliates have access to the general VPN tunnel automatically*

\*Extension admitted degree and premedical programs only
