##  Overview 

SharePoint, as part of the Microsoft 365 suite, provides teams a secure platform to collaborate on group, departmental, or project files. Users can organize, share, and access files from any device. Additionally, files can be shared externally with non-Harvard faculty and staff. Storage for [Level 4 data](https://privsec.harvard.edu/classify-risk) is available upon request, subject to certain restrictions.



 

 ### Eligibility

**Faculty, staff, researchers,** and **students** in CADM, FAS, College, DCE\*, GSAS, SEAS, GSD, GSE, HDS, HKS, HLS, HMS, HSDM, Radcliffe, SPH

\*Extension admitted degree and premedical programs only



 

 ### Data classification level

Approved for up to [Medium Risk Confidential (L3) data](https://privsec.harvard.edu/data-classification-table) using standard Harvard SharePoint

**Can be configured for High Risk Confidential (L4) data** [by request only](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=6de6b5856ffcb100a54fa981be3ee4a8)
