**Jason Shaffner** is the Associate Vice President for Administrative Technology Services, which encompasses systems supporting University-wide financials, human resources, alumni affairs, research administration and compliance, budgeting, enterprise student systems, Campus Services and Harvard University Health Services information technology, and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences administrative applications portfolio. Prior to his appointment to this position in 2016, he served as Managing Director for the HUIT Student Information System Program and Director of Financial Systems Solutions in Harvard Financial Administration.

Jason has broad expertise in engagement and project management, functional leadership, business analysis, and technical development for higher education administrative systems. Before arriving at Harvard University, he implemented student information and enterprise resource planning systems at numerous colleges and universities, including the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University.

Jason graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College and obtained a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard Extension School.
