Formed in 2012, Harvard’s CIO Council meets bi-weekly and is charged with leading and advancing University-wide IT strategies, policies, and standards, in support of the missions of both the individual schools and the University.

The CIO Council empowers the Harvard community through technology that enables:

- **Effortless access** to data, information, and knowledge
- **Rapid and profound innovation** in teaching, learning, and research
- **Seamless collaboration** across communities and disciplines
- **Effective and efficient administration**
